Q

Explain the difference between optical and electron microscopes

A
  • Optical microscopes use light and lenses, electron microscopes use electrons and magnets.
  • Electron microscopes need a vacuum so specimens must be dead.
  • Electron microscopes have a much higher magnification and better resolution
