Main complaint and history, current and recent antibiotic history
Initial assessment and investigations; radiology, samples
CRP, WCC; results and trends
Renal function; allergy
Observations (NEWS, SEPSIS 6, CURB65 etc)
What are coliforms (e.coli, klebsiella, enterobacter, proteus) and pseudomonas sensitive to?
Gentamicin and aztreonam

Doxycycline or clarithromycin

What causes acute native valve endocarditis?
Staph aureus - take 2 sets of blood cultures and start antibiotics within the hour
