Oillean was a piece composed in 1979. It was created for the string orchestra and a traditional musician which was Matt Molloy and he was free to ornament as he liked, this means to play several notes per notes, or improvised.

Míchéal Ó Súilebháin is a musician and composer. He has been active since 1976. In his music he mixes two types of music together and this is called fusion. In this case it’s European Art, and traditional Irish music.
