What does IDK mean?
Dashboard resources. IDK is for display . Presentation of the numbers. How we want to see if presented. Stores settings related to how the data will be displayed in radar.

Stores the definition of the metric. Metric definitions. Logic/calculations that go into a measurement.
What does CSF mean
Cogito summarized facts(the actual data). Stores the actual data for the metric.
What is the resource in this picture?
One row of that component is a resource.

Explain what is happening here.
We find a metric IDN, and we put it into a resource. An IDK record is a resource. An IDK is also known as a dashboard resource. Then we put the IDK into a component which is a IDB-Component. Then we put that on to an IDM a dashboard. They are nested within each other, and we have one level and move on to the next.
Explain the arrows and how they works with the IDM,IDB,IDK, and IDN
We have the resource the Idk, and that one row is a resource. Then we have the IDM the component and it is the graph. Then on the whole dashboard we can change the various settings on the dashboard.

What is the Metric Repository.
The first resource for finding available metrics is the User web in the metric repository. This is where we can do some searching for IDN records.
In radar admin, the description, where is that found?
When you hover over the I button.
Where would you build and modify recourses?
You would build and modify resources with the resource editor.
In creating a resource, what is the required field?
Documenting your build with a meaningful description and an owning application will make maintenance easier, but the only absolutely required field is the record type.
How can metrics display data?
They can display it as a calculated value or elements of a ratio.
*Elements of the ratio: The numerator, the denominator, or the numerator over the denominator.
*IDK is for display. This is an example of IDK

True, you can also search for the component editor.
In the create component, the data source tab, what does the view as ask order?
The view as is what should one row be? We are saying a resource and once we click resource it brings the rest down.
And I say what resources I want and I can add other resources here. In other words, this field determines the meaning of a row in the component
In the create component, what is the lookup method ?
The look up method can be a flexible or a hard coded of summary targets. It determines how the dashboard resources on a component retrieve the summary targets. Possible options include; User security, login content, override parameter, and specific values.
If you want your components to have an override, you need two things to be in place.
- The dashboard needs parameter settings
- On the components themselves have to take the override.
When selecting summary level parameters, which components will it have an effect on?
This will only affect components that have a lookup method other than specific value set on the data source form. If it is 139
Where would you go to add or edit the summary level parameters?
Data source tab->Historical Trending-> Summary level-> lookup method -> Value
Why is the one with the arrow not highlighted in green when looking at summary level parameters?
When grouping data by summary level, if the component’s lookup method has the specific value set on the data source form, then that means that they can not be group. It does not allow for override. The others one do allow because they are dynamic. Specific value is hardcoded. Now if we change it to login context or other lookup methods, it become dynamic.
How to Add Summary Level Parameters
- Go to Designer UI and click on the turn think
- Click the edit parameters button.
- Click on enable summary level parameter check box in the edit parameter.
Difference between Summary target versus Resources:
The resources: One row per resource. This determines what one row is in your component (granularity). In the picture you have 4 different measurements all being measured for one summary target. One level of aggregation. In the picture, you see EMC Family Medicine and is looking at 4 different measurements, 4 resources.
The summary Target: One row per target. In the picture we have 4 summary targets, 4 different places or departments, locations. All being summarized for one resource: One measurement. Example, one row for each department, show me 5 departments. One row per provider, show me the 7 providers I supervise.
Most commonly you want the resources. You would want to summary targets instead of resources when comparing performance. So, you are comparing things, overall.
What do SQL drill down reports Execute?
SQL drilldown reports execute SQL queries to display row-level drill down about the current summary targets and time interval metric display . You have to set this up. Not every metric will have this.
What is User Security?
User security is going to compare the user who is log and what ever departments they have under their user security and that is what they will see.
