Metrics Flashcards
What is IDM
Radar dashboard record that is the frame for metric base components. I Da Mama AKA Dashboard Resource
What is IDB
Radar component record that pulls together records for display. I Da Baby
What does IDK mean?
Dashboard resources. IDK is for display . Presentation of the numbers. How we want to see if presented. Stores settings related to how the data will be displayed in radar.
What does IDN mean
Stores the definition of the metric. Metric definitions. Logic/calculations that go into a measurement.
What does CSF mean
Cogito summarized facts(the actual data). Stores the actual data for the metric.
What is the resource in this picture?
One row of that component is a resource.
True or False:Dashboards in the IDM master file act as frames in which components are embedded.
True, Dashboards in the IDM master file act as frames in which components are embedded. Dashboard-level metric settings can control, dashboard-wide, the summary levels and targets of displayed data.
True or False:Components in the IDB master file do not control metric-related settings that propagate to lower levels of the metric framework, like the default time periods used for the data.
False, the answer is true. Like dashboards, components in the IDB master file control metric-related settings that propagate to lower levels of the metric framework, like the default time periods used for the data. And like dashboards, components act as frames that store one or more records of the next level of the metric frame work: the dashboard resources.
True or False: Dashboard resources are IDK records.
True, Dashboard resources are IDK records. Resources store settings related to how the data are actually displayed, like the thresholds that determine the color. Each resource points to its particular metric and displays the data associated with that metric.
True or False:Benchmark definitions (metrics) are IDN records.
Benchmark definitions (metrics) are IDN records. Resources store settings related to how the data are actually displayed, like the thresholds that determine the color. Each resource points to its particular metric and displays the data associated with that metric.130
True or False: Benchmark definitions (metrics) are not IDN records.
Benchmark definitions (metrics) are IDN records. They determine how raw data are summarized into displayable data. If you were asked to find the percentage of active MyChart users, you would divide that number of active users by the total number of users. This definition of how to calculate the desired data, in essence, is a metric. Actually, applying a metric yields the data points that make up the records of the CSF master file.
Explain what is happening here.
We find a metric IDN, and we put it into a resource. An IDK record is a resource. An IDK is also known as a dashboard resource. Then we put the IDK into a component which is a IDB-Component. Then we put that on to an IDM a dashboard. They are nested within each other, and we have one level and move on to the next.
Explain the arrows and how they works with the IDM,IDB,IDK, and IDN
We have the resource the Idk, and that one row is a resource. Then we have the IDM the component and it is the graph. Then on the whole dashboard we can change the various settings on the dashboard.
True or False: You can directly edit Epic released content?
False, instead you must make a copy of those epic-released records and edit the copy.
What are the exceptions of editing epic released content?
The IDK and the IDN records. The Idk and the Inn records you may make changes that directly impact these records without copying them. The system will create an override record to reflect these changes. In order to migrate your records, you will need to enter “based.<recordID>" instead of the record ID.</recordID>
True or False: Dashboard level settings control the summary levels and targets of displayed data?
True, dashboards in the IDM master file act as frames in which components are embedded. Dashboard -level metric settings can control, dashboard-wide, the summary levels and targets of displayed data.
What controls metric related settings the propagate to lower levels of the metric framework?
Like dashboards, components in the IDB master file control metric-related settings that propagate to lower levels of the metric framework, like the default time period used for the data
Where do metrics get their data from?
Chronicles
Registries
Clarity
Caboodle
Datalink
Scheduled batch jobs
Manual data import
What is the Metric Repository.
The first resource for finding available metrics is the User web in the metric repository. This is where we can do some searching for IDN records.
In radar admin, the description, where is that found?
When you hover over the I button.
Where would you build and modify recourses?
You would build and modify resources with the resource editor.
