Asthma (Theophylline)
COPD (Theophylline: recommended as an alternative to β2 agonist & anticholinergic)
Apnea of Prematurity: first line treatment, Theophylline most often used, caffeine citrate may be better choice
Serum levels of Theophylline
No effects seen: 20 mcg/mL
Cardiac arrythmias: >30 mcg/mL
Seizures: 40-45 mcg/mL
