What is the use of Ritalin?
A
To correct ADHD by decreasing hyperactivity and improving attention span

When is Ritalin usually given?
A
Because food affects absorption rate, this drug should be given 30 to 45 minutes before meals. It should be given 6 hours or less before sleep, because it may cause insomnia

Which agents increase the effect of Ritalin?
A
Sympathomimetic drugs such as decongestants. Foods that contain caffeine should be avoided because it increases the drug action
