Most metals come naturally from earth

The melting point is the temperature at which a solid material turns into liquid

These are certain behaviours which define a substance as metal or non-metal
What temperature are metals usually solid at?
room temperature
What are non-metals usually?
non-metals are often gases but can be solid at room temperature
What is steel?
Steel is an alloy made up of the metal element
iron and along with certain metals like
chromium or the non-metal carbon.
What is corrosion?
Corrosion is the process of a metal combining with oxygen to form it’s oxide (rusting)
