What is reproduction?
Reproduction is offspring from a parent.

What does the sperm duct do?
The sperm duct transports urine and semen.
What is the function of the Urethra?
The Urethra allows urine and Semen to leave the body.
What do the testis do?
the testis produce sperm.
What is the function of the scrotum?
The scrotum is a bag of skin that helps protect and holds the testis.
What does the penis do?
The penis holds the urethra and transport semen to the egg.
List all parts of the female reproductive system.
Fallopian tube, Funnel, Ovary, womb, lining of the womb, cervix, vagina.
What does the ovary do?
The ovary produces oestrogen and are a pair.
What are the fallopian tubes purpose?
The fallopian tubes catch the egg when its released and fertilism happens here.
what does the womb do?
in a muscular structure that carries the developing baby and nurishes it. The lining breaks down once a month (period)
what is the function of the cervix?
The neck of the womb
what is the vagina for?
The vagina is a muscular tube that holds the penis during intercource. Also known as the birth canal
What is the Menstrual cycle?
This is a cycle of changes that take 28 days that prepare the female body for pregnancy.
what is Sexual intercource?
Sexual intercource (which is also called copulation) takes place when the erect penis of the male is placed in the vagina of the female.

When the embryo becomes attached to the uterus

fertilisation is when the nucleus of a sperm fuses with the nucleus of an egg.

Implantation bleeding is thought to happen when the fertilized egg attaches to the lining of the uterus.
