Q

What are the 4 main properties of metal?

A

High melting point and boiling point
- strong metallic bond

Dense

Strong and bendy and malleable
- can be shaped into things

Q

What is a superconductor metal?

A

Metals that will conduct their energy by being really cold

(Metals lose their current energy mainly by heat- if they become super conductors by being really cold, No energy will be wasted and current could go on forever even by taking out the battery)

Q

What can you make with superconductor metals? Name 3.

A
  1. Power cables without any power loss (lose- free power transmission)
    - No energy(heat) will be wasted , power will still be going
  2. Electromagnets (that will not need a constant power source)
  3. Electronic circuit - works fast (no resistance to slow them down)
