The governor of a province in the ancient Persian empire

Assyrians
They had a very strong and powerful army that was cruel and violent. They were very organized and had a big army to watch over the land
Persians-Cyrus
He took over the Fertile Crescent and Anatolia by toleration policy. There were fewer revolts and people lived peaceful lives.
Persians-Darius
He made 20 provinces, with a satrap, military leader, and spies to check in on the satraps for each province. He made Royal Road used for carrying military and messages which was later useful for trading and business use. He also minted coins.
Phoenicians
Sailors and traders. They had very good navigation skills by using the sun and moon. They lived on the east coast of the Med. sea and set up colonies and trading post. They made the Phoenician alphabet with 22 symbols because cuneiform was too difficult.
Babylonians
Hammurabi was a ruler of babylon and an Amorite king. His biggest accomplishment was setting up and enforcing his code of law, because he had so many people in his empire his goal was to bring justice to all people.
