A health problem that significantly affects how a person feels, thinks, behaves, and interacts with other people
Mental Ilness
Irregular eating habits and stress concern about size; coexists with different conditions such as anxiety, depression, etc.
Eating Disorder
Pretty common and can make it hard to focus and sit still; one of the most common mental disorders affecting children.
ADHD
Can happen anywhere, anytime; a person may feel terrified and overwhelmed, even though not in danger.
Anxiety (Panic Disorder)
Impacts how a person perceives and socialized with other, causing problems in social interaction and communication; includes limited and repetitive patterns of behavior.
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Produces dramatic mood swings; a person may alternate between periods of elevated food or ‘mania’ and period of depression or intense sadness.
Bipolar Disorder
Triggered by a terrifying event either experiencing or witnessing it and symptoms may include flashback nightmares and sever anxiety.
PTSD
Can make the brain think it sees or hears things that don’t exist; a person may start to think people are trying to control them or read their minds.
Schizophrenia
A mental health challenge that makes a person feel very sad all the time and has loss of interest, may require long-term treatment, but it can be treated with medication and psychotherapy.
