Temporary holding power of px already in hospital

For MHA then can apply s2 or s3
Cannot be applied in A&E as px is not an inpatient

Can be applied by prescribed nurses
For up to 6 hours
To wait for doctor who can assess px (to apply s5(2) or s2 or s3)

Px granted short periods of leave from hospital in lead up to discharge

To move px from public place to place of safety for MHA to take place
