What is given for alcohol withdrawal?

Neuroleptic malignant syndrome?
Who gets it?
Symptoms?
Key investigation?
Seen in patients taking antipsychotics, usually just after starting within days.
Symptoms are:
Pyrexia
Rigidity
Confusion
Raised creatine kinase
Stop antipsychotic and offer IV fluids.
What is serotonin syndrome?
Multiple antidepressants or higher doses
Rigidity
Pyrexia
Confusion
Management:
IV fluids
Withdraw causative agents.
What is the treatment for paracetamol overdose?
Acetylcysteine.
