It affects how one thinks, feels, and acts.
MENTAL HEALTH
It helps determine how one handles stress, relates to others, and makes choices. It is important in every step of life-from childhood, through adolescence, and up to adulthood.
MENTAL HEALTH
Several factors affect your mental health. The following are some of the mental problems that may cause:
- Biological factors or hereditary
- Life experiences such as phobia, abuse, or neglect
- Mental disability of family history
- Social isolation or loneliness
Maintaining optimistic mental health will allow people to:
- Cope with the stresses in life.
- Become productive in their work.
- Contribute meaningfully to the community.

refers to the things that make a person stressed. There are two different kinds of stress – eustress and distress.

refers to a positive and healthy response of the body from a stressor. It produces good effects to one’s well-being.
