Validation Therapy
Useful in clients with neurocognitive disorders. It is a process of communicating with a. disoriented older adult client by respecting and validating their feelings that the situation is real to them but no one else.
Disulfiram
Oral medication that is a type of behavioural therapy
Disulfiram used with alcohol will cause acetaldehyde syndrome to occur
Effects include nausea, vomiting, weakness, sweating, palpitations, and hypotension
