Defined negatively as the absence of illness or positively as the presence of wellness
Self-actualization
The highest level of growth in maslow’s hierchy of needs

Satisfaction and confidence in yourself; the valuing of yourself as a person

A persistent disturbance or dysfunction in behaviour, thoughts or emotions that causes significant distress or impairment
Generalized anxiety disorder
Chronic irrational worry about daily events (work,social, relationships,finances)

Panic disorder
Recurrent panic attacks without warning
chest pain, heart palpitations, SOB, dizziness, feeling of impending doom
Agoraphobia
Panic disorder where individuals avoid social situations ( riding the bus or flying) due to fear of having a panic attack or not being able to escape.
Phobias
Marked, persistant excessive fear and avoidance of specific objects, activities, or situations
Depressive mood disorders
Symptoms
feelings of helplessness, hopelessness, extreme guilt.
