  1. Report everything.
    Free recall technique, minor details not ignored.
  2. Reinstate the context.
    Internal/external cues trigger memories.
  3. Reverse the order.
    Prevents dishonesty. Could confuse/catch them in a lie.
  4. Change perspective.
    Reduces expectations and pressure.

Certain police departments only use “reinstate context”
Low external validity.

Young children find confusing.
Produce less reliable recall than standard police interviews. 8+ yrs recommended.
Low population validity.
