RAT MANUAL DEPLOY LEVER–Pull
Jammed Control Column (pitch)
ELEVATOR DISCONNECT handle—- pull
Jammed Control Wheel (roll)
AILERON DISCONNECT Handle— Pull
Oxygen Mask Donning
O2 Mask–Don
Crew Communication— Establish
EGPWS Warning (pilot flying)
- Disengage Autopilot
- Simultaneously advance thrust levers to MAX and pitch to 20* or PLI, whichever is lower.
- Maintain present airplane configuration until terrain separation is achieved.
- Climb to the MSA or MORA
- Clear of terrain, resume level flight
- Engage Autopilot
- Resume normal speed
EGPWS Warning (PM)
- Communicate intensions with ATC
- Turn FSTN BELTS ON
- Scan for visual reference
- Scan for visual Reference
- call out the Radio Altimeter indicaiton
- Read MFD terrain indications to check the obstacle height, guide PF for the best course of action and indicate when obstacles have been cleared.
Windshear Escape Maneuver (PF)
First pilot to recognize calls “ windshear”
- Thrust lever–MAX
- TOGA button– PUSH
- Flight Director Escape guidance cue-follow until 1500’ AGL and terrain clearance assured.
- (if no EGPWS “wind-shear” announcement–pitch to 20 degrees or PLI, whichever is lower.
Windshear Escape Maneuver (PM)
First pilot to recognize calls “windshear”
- Assure Max Thurst set
- Monitor vertical speed and radar altimeter
- Advise ATC of windshear encounter
Stall Recovery (PF)
First pilot to recognize calls :”stall”
- Disengage autothrottle
- apply nose down and lever the wings until out of stall.
- Apply thrust as required
- Accelerate the airplane to a safe speed
- retract speed brakes
- after recovery, return to the normal flight path.
Stall Recovery (PM)
First pilot to recognize calls “stall”
- Check auto throttles and AP disengaged
- Monitor altitude and speed
- Perform and necessary callout(s)
-reconfigure the airplane as commanded
