- driftdown speed with flaps up >FL200 (best lift over drag)
- Ideal Flap extension speed < FL200
What does the Flight Path Vector Speed Error Tape display?
the difference between actual and selected airspeed.

Using the smart probes and static pressure
What does the Pitch limit indicator (PLI) display?
the margin between stick shaker and AOA and the aircraft AOA.
What happens if ADS 1 fails?
Automatically reverts to ADS 3, if ADS 3 is inop must manually revert to ADS2.
How long does it take the IRS to align?
up to 17 minutes
What does OVRD on the FMA indicate?
The auto throttles are being overridden.
What does the FPA accelerator pointer on the PFD indicate?
Acceleration and deceleration rate along the flight path.
What is the indication of a successful DVDR test?
no indication, the only indication will be for a test failure.
What do high density red dots indicate on the EGPWS?
Terrain is more than 2000’ above the aircraft altitude.
IF IRS 1 fails, does it automatically revert to IRS 2?
No, must be manually selected
