EGPWS Warning (Pilot Flying)

A

-Autopilot—Disengage
-Simultaneously advance thrust levers to max and pitch t
to 20* or PLI, whichever is lower.
-Maintain the present airplane config (gear/flaps) until terrain seperation is achieved.
-Climb to the MSA or MORA
-clear of terrain, resume level flight.
-Engage autoplilot
-resume normal speed.

EGPWS Warning (Pilot Monitoring)

  • Communicate intentions to ATC
  • Turn FSTN BELTS ON.
  • Scan for visual reference
  • call out the radio altimeter indication.
  • Read MFD terrain indications to check the obstacle height, guide PF for the best course of action and indicate when obstacles have been cleared.
