Loss of Braking
If no braking available:
• Reversers - MAX
• Brake Pedals - RELEASE
• Antiskid Off - ORDER
• Antiskid & Nosewheel steering - OFF
• Brake Pedals - PRESS
• Max Pressure - 1000 psi
If still no braking:
• Parking Brake - Short and Successive Applications
Smoke / Fumes / AVNCS Smoke
Oxygen Mask / Goggles:
• ON / 100% / Emergency
EGPWS Alerts
- Autopilot - OFF
- Pitch - PULL UP
- Thrust Levers - TOGA
Emergency Descent
• Crew Oxygen Masks - USE
• Signs - ON
• Emergency Decent - INITIATE
- If A/THR is not active
- Thrust Levers - IDLE
• Speed Brake - FULL
Unreliable Speed Indication / ADR Check Procedure
- AP/FD - OFF
- Autothrust - OFF
• PITCH and THRUST:
- Below Thrust Red. Alt. = 15°, TOGA
- Above Thrust Red. Alt. & below 10000’ = 10°, CL Thrust
- Above Thrust Red. Alt. & Above 10000’ = 5°, CL Thrust
• Flaps - Maintain current configuration
- Flaps, if Configuration full select configuration FLAPS 3 and maintain
- Speedbrakes - Check Retracted
- Landing Gear - Up
TCAS Warning
- Autopilot (if engaged) - OFF
- Both FDs - OFF
STALL Warning at Lift-Off
- Thrust - TOGA
- Pitch Attitude - 15 degrees
- Bank - WINGS LEVEL
WIndshear Ahead - Predictive
When airborne:
• Thrust Levers - TOGA
• Autopilot (if engaged) - KEEP ON
• SRS Orders - FOLLOW
During landing:
• Go Around - PERFORM
- Thrust Levers - TOGA
- Announce - “Go AROUND FLAPS.”
- Flaps - RETRACT ONE STEP
- Landing Gear Up - SELECT
• Autopilot (if engaged) - KEEP ON
Windshear - Reactive
If after VR:
• Thrust Levers - TOGA
• Reaching VR - ROTATE
• SRS Orders - FOLLOW
If Airborne, initial climb or landing:
• Thrust Levers TOGA - SET OR CONFIRM
• Autopilot if engaged - KEEP
• SRS Orders - FOLLOW
STALL Recovery
- Nose Down Pitch Control - APPLY
- Bank - WINGS LEVEL
When out of stall:
• Thrust - INCREASE SMOOTHLY AS NEEDED
• Speedbrakes - CHECK RETRACTED
• Flight Path - RECOVER SMOOTHLY
If clean configuration and below 20,000’
• Flaps 1 - SELECT
V1 Cut
- Correct to centerline & rotate
- Positive rate, gear up, pull heading
- Center the Beta.
- Trim off pressure, autopilot on
- 400’ ECAM action
- At acceleration altitude, pull the ALT knob (OP CLB)
- S speed; “stop ECAM; flaps 0; continue ECAM.”
- Accelerate to green dot, Set MCT
- “Clear status?” Stop ECAM. After T/O check. continue ECAM.
