Memory Items Flashcards
Loss of Braking
If no Braking:
- REV - MAX
- Brake Pedals - Release
- A/SKID OFF - Order
- A/SKID & NW STRG - OFF
- Brake Pedals - Press
- MAX BRK PR - 1000 PSI
If Still no Braking:
- PARK BRAKE - USE (Short successive applications)
As per FCOM PRO-ABN-BRAKES P 1/8
Emergency Descent
- CREW OXY MASK - USE
- SIGNS - ON
- EMER DESCENT - INITIATE
If A/THR not active:
THR LEVERS - IDLE
- SPD BRK - FULL
As per FCOM PRO-ABN-MISC P 1/26
Stall Recovery (“Stall I Have Control”)
As soon as any stall indications is recognized:
- Nose down pitch control - Apply (Reducing Thrust MAY BE Necessary)
- Bank - Wings Level
When Out Of Stall:
- Thrust - Increase Smoothly (In case of OEI, apply rudder progressively to compensate)
- SPD BRK - Check Retracted
- Flight Path - Recover Smoothly
*If clean below 20.000: FLAP 1 - Select* (If a risk of ground contact exists, once clearly out of stall, establish smoothly a positive climb gradient)
As per FCOM PRO-ABN-MISC P 2/26
Stall at liftoff (“Stall, toga, 15º”)
- Thrust - TOGA
At The Same Time:
2. Pitch Attitude - 15º
3. Bank - Wings Level
As per FCOM PRO-ABN-MISC P 3/26
Unreliable Speed
If the safe conduct of the flight is impacted:
- AP - OFF
- A/THR - OFF
- FD - OFF
Pitch Thrust:
- Below Thrust Red Alt: 15º TOGA
- Above Thrust Red alt & below FL100: 10º CLB
- Above Thrust Red & above FL100: 5º CLB
Flaps:
- If 0/1/2/3: Maintain current CONF
- If FULL: Select 3 and Maintain
- SPD BRK - Check Retracted
- L/G - UP
When at or above MSA or circuit altitude: level off for troubleshooting.
As per FCOM PRO-ABN-NAV P 1/58
GPWS Warnings or Cautions during IMC or night (“Pullup TOGA”)
Simultaneously:
- AP - OFF
- PITCH - PULL UP
- THRUST - TOGA
- SPD BRK - Check Retracted
- BANK - Wings level or adjust
Do not change configuration until clear of obstacle
As per FCOM PRO-ABN-SURV P 3/10
GPWS Cautions during VMC, and other cautiones (“Sink Rate”, “Don’t Sink”, “Too Low Gear/Too Low Flaps”, “Glideslope”)
- Caution in VMC (with terrain and obstacles clearly in sight):
Flight Path - Adjust
- Sink Rate
Above 1000 ft IMC 500 ft VMC:
Flight Path - Adjust
Below 1000ft IMC 500 ft VMC:
Go-Around - Consider - Don’t Sink
Flight Path - Adjust - Too Low Gear/Too Low Flaps
Go-Around - Perform - Glideslope
Above 1000 ft IMC 500 ft VMC:
Flight Path - Adjust
When conditions require a deliberate approach below glideslope
G/S Mode - Off
Below 1000ft IMC 500 ft VMC:
Go-Around - Consider
As per FCOM PRO-ABN-SURV P 7/20
TCAS without TCAS blue (“TCAS i have control”)
All RA, except Climbing RA during approach in CONF 3 or FULL
- AP - OFF
- Both FD - OFF
- V/S - Adjust or maintain
If climb RA during approach in Config 3 or FULL
- Go Around - Perform
- V/S - Monitor
ATC - notify (Ava xxx RA TCAS) [solo si el RA se opone a la instrucción ATC]
When the “clear of conflict” aural alert sounds
- ATC - Notify
- Lateral and Vertical Guidance - Adjust
- AP/FD - As required
As per FCOM PRO-ABN-SURV P 6/10
Reactive Windshear Warning (“Windshear TOGA”)
If before V1:
If there are significant variations in airspeed and speed trend below V1, REJECT!
If after V1:
- THR LEVERS - TOGA
- Reaching VR- ROTATE
- SRS - Follow
Airborne:
- THR LEVERS at TOGA - SET or Confirm
- AP - Keep On
- SRS - Follow
DO NOT CHANGE CONFIGURATION UNTIL OUT OF WINDSHEAR.
CLOSELY MONITOR FLIGHT PATH AND SPEED.
RECOVER SMOOTHLY TO NORMAL CLIMB OUT OF WINDSHEAR.
As per FCOM PRO-ABN-SURV P 8/10
