Loss Of Braking:
If no braking
Callout “Loss Of Braking”
-REV - MAX (if needed, until full stop)
-Brake Pedals - Release
-A/Skid OFF - Order
-A/skid & N/W strg - OFF
-Brake Pedals - Press
-Max Brake Press - 1000psi
-If Still no Brake
- Park Brake - Use
Use short successive parking brake applications
Emergency Descent:
Callout “Emergency Decent”
-Crew Oxy Masks - Use
-Signs - On
- EMER Descent - Initiate
Note: It is recommended to descend with the AP on. (If A/THR active, check THR Idle on FMA)
A/THR not active:
- THR Levers - Idle
-Speed BRK - Full
Stall Recovery:
Callout “Stall, I have control”
-Nose Down Pitch Controls - Apply
-Bank - Wings Level
When Out Of Stall:
-Thrust - Increase smoothly as needed
-Speedbrakes - Check Retracted
- Flight Path - Recover Smoothly
If in clean configuration and below 20,000’ :
- Flap1 - Select
Stall Warning at Liftoff:
Callout “Stall, TOGA 15°”
-Thrust - TOGA
At same time:
- Pitch Attitude - 15°
- Bank - Wings Level
Smoke/ Fumes/ Avionics Smoke
- Crew Oxy Masks - Use/ 100% / Emerg
EGPWS Warnings:
“Pull Up - Terrain Ahead - Obstacle Ahead Pull Up”
Callout “Pull Up, TOGA”
Simultaneously:
- AP - Off
- Pitch - Pull Up
Pull full back stick and Maintain in that position.
- Thrust Levers - TOGA
- Speedbrake lever - Check Retracted
- Bank - Wings Level or Adjust
Do not change configuration (Slat/Flap, Gear) until clear of obstacle
TCAS Warning :
Callout “TCAS, I have Control”
Resolution Advisory:
- AP (if engaged) - Off
- Both FD’s - Off
Windshear Warning - Reactive Windshear:
Callout “Windshear TOGA”
Before V1:
- Significant variation in windspeed and in airspeed trend below V1 - Reject Takeoff
After V1:
- THR Levers - TOGA
- Reaching VR - Rotate
- SRS Orders - Follow
If no FD pitch 17.5°
Airborne, Initial Climb or landing:
- THR Levers at TOGA - Set or Confirm
- AP(if engaged) - Keep On
- SRS Orders - Follow
If no FD pitch 17.5°
- Do Not Change Configuration (Slat/Flap, Gear) until clear of Windshear.
- Smoothly Recover to Normal Climb out of Windshear
Unreliable Airspeed Indication:
Callout “Unreliable Speed”
If Safe Conduct of flight is Impacted:
- AP - Off
- A/THR - Off
- FD - Off
Pitch/Thrust:
Below Thrust RED Alt - 15°/ TOGA
Above Thrust RED Alt and Below FL 100 - 10°/ CLB.
Above Thrust RED Alt and Above FL 100- 5°/ CLB
FLAPS (If CONF 0,1,2,3) - Maintain Conf
FLAPS (If CONF Full) - Select Conf 3 and Maintain.
Speedbrake - Check Retracted
L/G - UP
When at or above MSA or Circuit Altitude: level off for troubleshooting.
EGPWS Cautions:
“Terrain Terrain” - “ Too low Terrain”
Callout “Pull Up, TOGA”
During Night or IMC:
Simultaneously
- AP - Off
- Pitch - Pull Up (Full Backstick and maintain in that position)
- Thrust Levers - TOGA
- speedbrake lever - Check Retracted
- Bank - Wings Level or Adjust
Do not change configuration (Slat/Flap, Gear) until clear of obstacle
