What happens when a Pack Controller fails?
- 2
- Pack outlet temp is regulated between 48°-59° f
What regulates the temperature in the aircraft?
- The Zone controller.
- One controller with 2 channels.
- If it fails , temp is regulated to 68° f.
The Hot Air system:
-Air tapped upstream of Packs.
- used to regulate temp of cockpit, cabin, and fwd cargo via Trim Air Valves.
The forward Cargo compartment heated and cooled by?
-Heated by Hot Air 1
-Cooled by Pack 2
The Cockpit is heated by:
-Hot air 1 through a restrictor valve.
The valves in the Air Conditioning system are:
-Electrically controlled and pneumatically operated.
The Ram Air scoop on the lower left side of the fuselage:
-Provide air in case of a dual Pack failure.
-Used for QRH Smoke/fumes removal.
-Will function unless Ditching PB is selected.
-Will not open if ∆P >1 psi.
