Illuminated RUD switchlight…..PUSH OFF
Roll Control Malfunction
Roll Control…….APPLY FOR WINGS LEVEL
Continuous Illumination of SPLR1 or SPLR2 PUSH OFF switchlight:
Illuminated SPLR switchlight….PUSH OFF
No continuous Illumination of SPLR1 or SPLR2 PUSH OFF switchlight
Power……………………………………..APPLY
Airspeed…………………………………INCREASE
Rudder Jam
Apply normal push force on affected rudder pedal.
If the rudder pedal moves as required:
-> Reduce push force on affected rudder pedal and allow rudder to center.
If the rudder pedal does not respond to normal push force
-> Use roll control as required for directional control.
Roll Control Jam
Autopilot………………..DISENGAGE
Roll Disc Handle…….PULL AND TURN 90°
Control Column……..BOTH PILOTS TRY
ROLL CONTROL
Pilot with free control wheel will fly the aircraft
Elevator Jam
Autopilot……………………DISENGAGE
Flap & Airspeed…………MAINTAIN AT
TIME OF JAM
Control Columns……….BOTH PILOTS TRY
TO OVERCOME

If unable to overcome the Jam
Control Column…………RELAX
Pitch Disc Handle………PULL & TURN 90°

PITCH CONTROL
Pilot with free control column will fly the aircraft.
Maximum Airspeed with jammed elevator is 170 KIAS or speed at which Jam occured, whichever is greater.
