THRUST LEVERS………IDLE
SPD BRAKE………………FULL
STALL RECOVERY
“STALL, I HAVE CONTROL”….. ANNOUNCE
Nose down pitch control…………..APPLY
Bank……………………………….WINGS LEVEL
When out of stall:
THRUST……….INCREASE SMOOTHLY AS NEEDED
SPEEDBRAKES…..CHECK RETRACTED
FLIGHT PATH……….RECOVER SMOOTHLY
If in clean configuration and below 20,000 feet:
FLAP 1…………SELECT
UNRELIABLE SPEED INDICATION
“UNRELIABLE SPEED”…. announce
AP…………………OFF
A/THR…………OFF
FD……………….OFF
PITCH/THRUST:
Below THRUST RED ALT……15°/TOGA
Above THRUST RED ALT & below 10,000…..10°/CLB
Above THRUST RED ALT & ABOVE FL100….5°/CLB
FLAPS (if 0,1,2,3)……….MAINTAIN CURR CONFIG
FLAPS(if FULL)………..Select CONF 3 & maintain
SPEED BRAKES……….CHECK RETRACTED
L/G………UP
When at, or above MSA or circuit altitude….level off for troubleshooting.
STALL WARNING AT LIFT-OFF
“STALL, TOGA 15°”…. ANNOUNCE
THRUST………………………………..TOGA
at the same time:
PITCH ATTITUDE……………15 DEGREES
BANK………………..WINGS LEVEL
EGPWS WARNINGS (cautions):
WARNING: “Pull up, Terrain Terrain Pull up, Obstacle Pull Up, Too low terrain, Caution terrain, Caution obstacle”
CAUTION: “Terrain, Terrain” “Too low, gear” “Caution, terrain” “caution obstacle” (Night or IMC)
“PULL UP TOGA”………….ANNOUNCE
Simultaneously:
AP………………..OFF
PITCH…………..PULL UP
Pull to full back stick and maintain in that position
THRUST LEVERS…….TOGA
SPEED BRAKES LEVER……..CHECK RETRACTED
BANK……………..WINGS LEVEL OR ADJUST
During Daytime and VMC, with terrain/obstacles clearly in sight:
FLIGHT PATH………………….ADJUST
EGPWS CAUTIONS “Sink rate”
- ABOVE 1000 AGL IN IMC OR ABOVE 500 AAL IN VMC
FLIGHT PATH…….ADJUST
- BELOW 1000 AGL in IMC or BELOW 500 AAL in VMC:
GO AROUND……….CONSIDER
TCAS WARNINGS
“TCAS TRAFFIC”
“TCAS I HAVE CONTROLS”………ANNOUNCE
any RA:
AP………….OFF
BOTH FDs…….OFF
Respect Stall, GPWS, or wind shear warning.
Notify ATC
GO AROUND must be initiated when RA “CLIMB” or “INCREASE CLIMB” is triggered on final approach
When “clear of conflict”, resume normal nav.
AP/FD may be re-engaged.
Reactive Windshear If Before V1
If before V1……..the takeoff should be rejected if significant speed variations below V1 and sufficient runway remains to stop the airplane.
EGPWS CAUTIONS “Don’t Sink”
Flight Path………ADJUST
EGPWS Cautions “Too low, gear” or “Too low, flaps”
Go Around…………….PERFORM
EGPWS Cautions “Glideslope”
Above 1000’ AAL in IMC or above 500’ AAL in VMC:
FLIGHT PATH……………ADJUST
When conditions require a deliberate approach below glide slope:
G/S MODE………………………..OFF
Below 1000’ AAL in IMC or below 500’ AAL in VMC:
GO AROUND…………………………CONSIDER
Reactive Windshear If After V1
“WINDSHEAR TOGA”….ANNOUNCE
THRUST LEVERS………….TOGA
REACHING VR……….ROTATE
SRS ORDERS……….FOLLOW
W/S AHEAD RED - When Airborne
“Winshear TOGA”……………..ANNOUNCE
THRUST LEVERS……………..TOGA
AP(IF ENGAGED)………….KEEP ON
SRS ORDERS………….FOLLOW
Reactive Winshear - Initial Climb, Landing
THR LEVERS AT TOGA……….SET or CONFIRM
AP if engaged………………KEEP ON
SRS ORDERS…….FOLLOW
DO NOT CHANGE CONFIGURATION UNTIL OUT OF WINDSHEAR,
MONITOR FLIGHT PATH AND SPEED
RECOVER SMOOTHLY TO NORMAL CLIMB OUT OF WINDSHEAR.
