Causes of Crime
A
- poverty due to bad harvests (Lead to food shortages and rising prices) which led to starvation

-War - due to feuds between nobles and knights.

A
- Groups of 10-12 men
- shared responsibility, if one man commited an offence the others were responsible for him and had to ensure they brought him to justice otherwise this could have ended in consequences for the whole group.
