Part C - MA is run by managed care providers (like an HMO or a PPO)
Must go to the provider’s network of services
Part D - offers extra coverage like vision, hearing, dental and/or health and wellness programs

Two Parts
Part A - Hospitals (free)
Part B - Physician’s Services (optional, financed by a monthly premium from SS check & partly by fed revenues)
You choose the Dr
Beneficiary
Medi-gap Policy
Sold by private Insurance companies
Covers the gaps in coverage in Medicare Original (Parts A & B)
Cannot be sold to those on Medicare Original (Part C)

Part B - Physician’s costs & medical services not covered by part A
Part C - Medicare advantage (Managed Care option)
Part D - Prescription Drug coverage
