infection.

Antibiotic resistance occurs due to not finishing a prescription, throwing medicine down the sink or in the bin, prescribing for other

A

Vaccines are a way of introducing an inactivated pathogen into our system to develop Memory Cell antibody creation before encountering the disease again (develops an immune response)

Booster shots are required for when an individual has stopped producing enough Memory Cells or your body doesn’t retain the information of a pathogen for as long as it should.

If enough individuals have been immunised within a community, those individuals who are unable to undertake this process will have enough community members surrounding them to reduce the threat of being infected.

A

Wash your hands often, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces and cover coughs/sneezes with a tissue or your elbow.
