what are some signs of cardiac distress?
- clutching at chest
- pain/numbness in chest, jaw, neck or arm
- sweating
- pallor
- SOB
- irregular heart beat
feeling of indigestion

early intervention
mild allergic rx symptoms
nasal congestion, itching at site, tight chest or throat
moderate allergic rx symptoms
flushing, warm feeling, bronchospasm, dyspnea
severe allergic rx symptoms
decrease BP, weak pulse, severe dyspnea, cyanosis, abdominal cramping, vomiting, seizures, resp or cardiac arrest
what is hypoglycemia?
blood glucose is <4 mmol/L
- pt has excess insulin in blood and/or excess hypoglycaemic meds in blood
