Salter-Harris classification of epiphyseal injuries
Type I: complete separation of the physis in relation to the metaphysis without fx
Type II: separation of the physis and a small portion of the metaphysis
TypeIII: fx of the physis
Type IV: fx of portion of physis and metaphysis
Type V: no displacement of the physis but the crushing force can cause a growth deformity

Osteocondrosis
General category of conditions referring to degenerative changes in the ossification centers in the epiphysis of bone.
Causes- aseptic necrosis, trauma causing change in the articular surface if the bone

Neuropraxia
Mildest form of a nerve injury caused by compression or mildly blunt blows to the area resulting in an interruption of conduction of the impulse down the nerve fiber.
