Mediation and moderation Flashcards

1
Q

What do you do to establish mediation?

A

1) iv must affect med and 2) dv must be affected by iv and 3) med must affect dv in last equation, if conditions hold then equation 3 iv should have less affected than 2nd equation and in perfect mediation iv has no effect when mediator is not involved
