Q

What are the two parts of the atria that are separated by the terminal crest

Q

Describe the Right Ventricle

A
  • Separated into 2 parts by supraventricular crest
    • Right ventricle proper - inflow channel ant/post/septal papillary muscles, valve, chordae tendinae ,
    • Conus arteriousus - smooth outflow channel; blood is pumped into pulmonary trunk

Q

Describe the left ventricle

A

Two parts:

  1. Left ventricle proper - inflow channel - ant/post papillary muscles, valve, chordae tendinae, receives blood from LA
  2. Aortic vestibule - outflow channel - smooth - blood flows to aorta
