Children are seen as particularly vulnerable because they are less able to tell the difference between reality and fiction in children s TV, violence is shown as heroic with people solving problems through fights rather than sitting down and discussing issues as adults should do.
Bulimic society-jock young
British criminologist jock young argues that the media is partly responsible for criminality young argues that the media has created a bulimic society, one with constant hunger and desire to binge on everything such as designer brands, overconsuming the internet and social media, wealth and status but at the same time are excluded form its realisation. Young argues that this can explain criminality among youths from deprived backgrounds.
