clean vial with alcohol swab
draw correct dose
remove bubbles
mix insulin

Sit patient up.

IM injection- needle angle, how to hold skin, how to proceed
open gauze, bandaid and alcohol,put on gloves
find site &swab w ith alcohol
remove needle cover and hold between R Thumb & finger
pull tissue to both sides, left handed
72 to 90 degree angle
release pull, steady syringe, slow push, gauze
Draw all the subQ injection sites, front and back.

Hand sanitizer, cup of water, applesauce, alcohol swabs, bandaids, gauze, med cups, PO, pill crusher/splitter, scissors
