push caffeine & fluids, instruct patient to lie flat, analgesics
If all interventions fail may be a candidate for
blood patch
What happens if you post a post spinal anesthesia pt in trendelenmburg position?
anesthesia can rise up her spinal column to the nerves that enervate her lungs and she could stop breathing
When would you use a pudendal nerve block? WHat;s the advantage?
episiotomy & for most low forcep deliveries- no effect on contractions

Yes- manipulation will decrease or stop its function, so return to normal diet slowly.
