A measure indicating how many people died in a particular population, how they died and over what period.
E.g. CVD (33.8%) Cancer (29.2%) accounted for 63% of all deaths in Australia in 2007

A measure indicating the number of infant deaths in the first year of life per 1000 births.

A
A measure used to examine the prevalence (occurrence) and incidence of disease and sickness in a specific population.
