Measurements Flashcards
continuous measurement
Some dimensions ( or dimensions) of a behavior recorded each time the behavior occurs such as frequency rate, etc.
Duration
Total amount of time (I.e, temporal extent)
Frequency
Total count
Momentary Time Sampling
Data collection where you record yes / no only if the behavior happens for a specific moment
discontinuous measurement
Recording data on some instances of behavior, such as through whole-interval, partial-interval and momentary time sampling.
Latency
Time until a response occurs following some event.
Whole interval
Data collection where you record yes/no if AND ONLY IF the behavior occurs for the entire interval.
Rate
Count of behavior per unit time
Inter Response time (IRT)
Time (IRT) is the time from the offset of one response and the onset of the next response.
Permanent Product
Durable product of a behavior that remains after the offset of the behavior
Partial interval Recording
You score the interval if the behavior happens for any part of the interval.
