How do you use a triple beam balance?
- Start with the heaviest weights (100’s), then work your way down to the 10’s and the 1’s
- Line up the two markings
How do you use electronic scales?
- Plug in and turn on
- Set up and stabilize prior to using device (match the bubble up with the circle)
- Do this by turning the legs or base supports until the bubble is aligned with the circle
- Then re-zero the value, press the button to zero your start value

Why is the line where the liquid ends curved?
It is curved due to the surface tension.
