What is an Ordinal Scale?

A

it is used to measure the relative quantity of something… such as

  • severity of angina (class 1, 2, 3, 4) etc
  • severity of pain
  • quality of life
  • alocohol consumption

*don’t have to be defined as a unit, but labels of each class*

they tell us “how much”
