start with driver door open

(reach for power lock on driver door) / (power lock may be near the gear selector)

press lock->unlock X1
insert key, cycle ON->OFF X3
close->open driver door X3
[locks cycle]

press unlock X2 on each remote
(up to three remotes)
remove key

What should you do in the event that neither Smartkey is starting the car after programming?

Answer 4

press New Key into Start button with brake until engine start both Smartkeys should now start the car.

Mazda Smartkeys require EXACT configuration to avoid fault codes
