What is the hospice movement?
A Christian response to the terminally ill. They aim to relieve and control the pain of dying (palliative care) and support people who love the dying one. They were begun by Dame Cicely Saunders who founded St Christopher’s Hospice in 1967. Many Christians volunteer to work in hospices.
