The vertex is (x,y)
To get x u flip h cuz (x-h) -> x=h
k is the y value
How to do cts, how to get cts form
1) reduce the coefficient of x^2 to one. Also known as the monic form (basically some equations will have like 3x^2 then u need change to 3(x^2)
2) divide the 2nd term by 2 and get a + and a - of it squared (eg. +(5/2)^2 - (5/2)^2) to become (x-h)^2
3)the first one with the + become the identity then the one with the - js add at the back to become k
What is the factorised form
a(x-p)(x-q)
How to get x intercepts from quadratic equations(ax^2+bx+c)
By factorising it into the factorised form a(x-p)(x-q)
Then flipping p and q
How to get turning point from (ax^2+bx+c)
Change it in to CTs form a(x-h)^2 + k
Flip h for x
K is y
(-h,k) = (x,y)

Replace the other with 0
