What is the definition of the average rate of change of a polynomial function?
The Average rate of Change of a polynomial function can be described as the slope from one point on the function to another point.
What is the difference between a positive and negative average rate of change?
A negative average rate of change shows a decrease in the slope of the interval that is being measured while a positive rate of change is an increase
What is a derivative?
A derivative is a way of finding the slope of a curve.
How do you find the derivative of a polynomial?
In order to find the derivative of a polynomial you bring down the exponent and multiply time the coefficient of whatever variable you are working with.
What is the derivative of 3x squared plus 2x plus 25
The derivative is 6x plus 2 plus 0
What is the difference between a continuous and discontinuous function?
A continuous function in simple terms can be traced with a pen while a discontinuous one cannot.
