What does the term ‘Mass Line’ refer to?
The political organisational technique imposed by the CCP. It’s aim was to consult the masses and take their suggestions and translate them into policy, however it mostly did not end up resembling the original suggestion.
It literally means ‘FROM THE MASSES, TO THE MASSES.’
What is democratic centralism?
The concept of how best to organise the working class when revolutionising society. It is an approach to collective decision making that correspond to the development of the middle class and the development of the revolution.
How does the theory of ‘Democratic Centralism’ and ‘Mass Line’ work?
You go to the masses, take their ideas and present it to the leadership. The leadership then put the ideas of the masses and guidance from the leadership and presents them to the masses.
