Infancy / 0-1 yr
Trust vs. Mistrust (Relying and trusting a caregiver based on if the needs are met)
Early Childhood / 1-3 yrs
Autonomy vs. Shame/Doubt (Developing a sense of independence but still relying on caregivers, developing shame or autonomy based on the caregivers.)
Play / 3-6 yrs
Initiative vs. Guilt (Gaining more autonomy, taking the initiative in some activities when they succeed, but guilt forms when unsuccessful.)
School Age / 7-11 yrs
Industry vs. Guilt (Taking more solo decisions, experiencing more social settings which influence decisions and a sense of self confidence or inferiority.)
Adolescence / 12-18 yrs
Identity vs. Confusion (Experiences more independence and roles in society, with feelings of acceptance and belonging and developing their identity or experiencing confusion towards it.)
Early Adulthood / 19-29 yrs
Intimacy vs. Isolation (Continuing to develop relationships and maintaining independence, trying to meet goals. These relationships help with feelings of intimacy.)
Middle Age / 34-64yrs
Generativity vs. Stagnation (One begins to focus on their career and financial stability, along with familial needs. Contributing to a society and a family results in feelings of generativity.)
Old Age / 64yrs+
Integrity vs. Despair (Person slows down, evaluating their life and its meaning. Positive feelings towards contributions and sense of life results in feelings of integrity.)
