- It’s more normal to have sex outside of marriage
- Divorce is a lot cheaper

- Sex is for the procreation of children
- The bible said it is sinful
- It is adultery and that’s banned in the 10 commandments
- Adultery breaks the wedding vows which is a promise to God.

- The catechism teaches that marriage can not dissolve
- There can not be any re marriage as there can be no divorce
- In Marks gospel Jesus taught that divorce is wrong

- If the marriage has broken down it may be the lesser of the two evils to separate
- They are better to divorce than live in hatred

- The church teaches we are equal
- The bible condemns this
