what is aeolian deposition?
A
entrainment, transport and deposition of sediment by wind

how wind effects the coast?
A
air moves in responce to small pressure differentials set up by warmer land and colder sea

what occurs when there is a large tidal range?
A
large amounts of sand may be exposed at low tide thus providing a supply of sediment to be entrained( picked up by the wind)

how is sand transported by wind?
A
wind rolls sand grains acorss the surface, wind is strong enough to lift grains by 1m into air flow for 30m

A
slowly breaks down a coastline, weakens underlying rocms and allows suddem movements or erosion to happen more easily
