Involves the leader dictating the objectives to be achieved and how to achieve them
Persuasive
Involves the leader dictating the objectives to be achieved and people
Consultative
Consultative management involves the leaders asking the employee’s for their opinions before ultimately making the decision for them self’s
Participative
Participative management involves the leader share the decision making responsibility with their employees to create a consensus decision
Not only will they consult with the employee’s but they will have responsibility in the management system
Emphasis’s team work in a flatter management structure especially where a diverse groups are coordinated
Recognizes the strength and abilities of employees and actively involves them in all stages of the decision making
Laissez Faire
Involves the employee being totally responsible for the decision making and operations of the business. In this management style, the manager has no central role or power. They may still have objectives and have ultimate accountability, but it is the employees who effectively run the business
This style encourages people to be responsible for their decision and accountabe for the results
