What is a molar pregnancy?
A
A complete molar pregnancy = caused by an abnormally fertilised egg = all genetic material is from the paternal side
An incomplete/partial molar pregnancy = the ovum contains chromosomes, but there are two sets of paternal chromosomes = 69 chromosomes
